Twenty-five years is a long time to age most single malts, but for the magnificent Glen Grant spirit it's barely touching middle age, so it's unusual that its cask strength is down to 45.6%.

Counterintuitively, naturally lowish cask strengths in aged malts are almost always a sign of very good whisky, with concentrated flavours and a gentle mouthfeel. This small batch 25-year-old Glen Grant 1995 comes from a pair of ex-bourbon barrels bottled by Signatory Vintage for their Cask Strength Collection and it's odds-on to be a very tasty treat.
