A remarkable 70-year-old Glen Grant 1948 released by Gordon & MacPhail in 2018 without colouring or chill filtration as one of the shiniest jewels in the crown of the G&M Private Collection.
This stunning 70-year-old Glen Grant 1948 from Gordon & MacPhail was the oldest ever bottling from the distillery at the time of release, and 72-year-old and a 74-year-olds from the same vintage were bottled subsequently. This whisky was distilled on the 11th June 1948 and aged for 70 years in a first-fill sherry butt #2154 before being bottled on the 19th October 2018 with a yield of just 210 bottles at its natural cask strength of 48.6%.
Each decanter is presented in a beautiful wooden display box.
