A limited edition Foursquare Sassafras 14-year-old barrel proof rum bottled in 2020 at its full cask strength as a collaboration between Richard Seale of Foursquare and rum champion Luca Gargano of Italian independent bottlers Velier SpA in Genoa.

Foursquare Sassafras was a 'single blend' of rums from both the distillery's traditional twin column Coffey still and their double retort copper pot still. The rums were aged in ex-bourbon casks for an initial three year period and were then transferred to ex-Cognac casks for the remaining 11 years of maturation. Foursquare Sassafras was a run of 6000 bottles at barrel proof - an exceptionally hefty natural cask strength of 61%. Cask strength Foursquare rums are like catnip to rum fans - this one will be a belter.
