Fettercairn 16 Year Old | 3rd Release 2022
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46.4%
The third release of Fettercairn's official 16-year-old single malt, first introduced to the distillery's core range in 2020 and arguably the best value from the distillery, particularly as it's been bottled at a palate-pleasing 46.4% without colouring or chill filtration.
The cask recipe for Fettercairn 16-year-old changes with each release to keep the offering fresh. While the first release Fettercairn 16-year-old was finished in sherry and port casks, the second release was exclusively sherry cask matured and this third release is a mix of ex-bourbon, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, selected and married by Whyte & Mackay Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass.
