The 12th edition of Elements of Islay's LG single malt, and Elixir Distillers' blending head honcho Oliver 'Dr.' Chilton has kept it very simple: Elements of Islay LG12 is a micro-batch of just two ex-bourbon barrels of Lagavulin 2007, matured over 14 years and bottled without colouring or chill filtration at the appealingly potent strength of 55.4%.

As wonderful as all that sounds, the only drawback is that this will necessarily be a very small batch and won't last long - don't hesitate if you want one of these.
