The splendid El Dorado 12-year-old rum is a blend of traditional rums all distilled by Demerara Distillers at their Diamond Distillery in Guyana. El Dorado 12-year-old is aged in ex-bourbon barrels and includes spirits made on various stills inherited from now-defunct distilleries, including the famous wooden stills from Enmore and Port Mourant.
Diamond is now the only working distillery in Guyana and El Dorado is their flagship brand. This 12-year-old El Dorado is a classic Demerara golden rum and is equally well-suited to contemplative sipping, high-end cocktails, or long drinks with the mixer of your choice.
