A single cask Edradour 1989 35-year-old Enigma 2 Highland single malt whisky released by the distillery as one of a pair of 35-year-old Enigma sister single casks from the 1989 vintage bottled in Edradour’s famous Ibisco decanters to celebrate the distillery’s 200th Anniversary in 2025. The Edradour Enigma bottlings arrive in a fancy wooden box with a pair of very smart cut crystal Glencairn whisky glasses.

This 200th Anniversary 35-year-old Edradour 1989 was bottled from single cask 368, which was a first fill Oloroso sherry butt bottled without colouring or chill filtration with an outturn of 379 bottles at its extraordinary natural cask strength of 62.3%%. One of a pair of sister Enigma sherry butts bottled in the Anniversary series, Cask 368 weighs in a full 10% stronger than its sister cask 355, and no doubt the pair would make a fascinating comparitive tasting.
