Bas Armagnac 70cl / 40%

A 1981 vintage Bas Armagnac from Delord, an autonomous independent house. Delord is a family-owned company and, unusually, exercises total control over every aspect of their production, growing their own grapes and distilling their own field to bottle armagnacs.

This Delord 1981 vintage Bas Armagnac was distilled from a mix of Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Baco grapes. After the harvest Delord vinifies each grape variety separately prior to distillation and this vintage was distilled only to around 54-58%, producing rich, intense flavours and a more characterful spirit than comparable Cognacs.
