A 15-year-old Bas Armagnac from the prestigious Delord house, a family producer founded by the sons of the brilliantly-named Prosper Delord, a travelling distiller, in the 1930s.

Prosper Delord had married Marie Duffau, who inherited vineyards in Gascony near Lannepax, and the company is still run by their descendants today, growing grapes for distillation and distilling, blending and selling their Armagnacs themselves. 15 years of ageing is a long time for most spirits, but Delord specialise in old vintages and long ageing, so although this is a mature and complex armagnac it's still very fresh and easy to drink.
