Deanston Virgin Oak Cask Strength was introduced late in 2023, following the success of Deanston Virgin Oak, which is bottled at 46.3% and has been a successful part of the core range since 2010.

This Batch 1 of Deanston's Virgin Oak Cask Strength is a limited edition matured initially in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in virgin oak casks for up to a year, and has been bottled at a mighty natural cask strength of 58.5%. This looks like great value.

Nose: Intense robust flavours of wood spice, creamy custard and candied fruit.

Palate: Butterscotch, heather honey, crisp green apple and Deanston’s signature waxy character.

Finish: Warm spice, with a twist of citrus and a hint of honey
