Deanston 2009-2023 | 13 Year Old Infrequent Flyers | Single Cask 6348
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: The Alistair Walker Whisky Company 70cl / 52.5%
A single cask Deanston 2009 bottled as a 13-year-old at the back end of 2023 by Alistair Walker Whisky Co. for their Infrequent Flyers range.
This 13-year-old Deanston 2009 was finished in a hogshead that previously held delicious sweet wine Marsala which should have contributed a sheen of delicious syrupy summer fruit flavours to Deanston's malty, biscuity spirit. Just 261 bottles were yielded from the cask, at its natural cask strength of 52.5%. Deanston is a seriously underrated distillery, and this should be a great value dram.
