A single cask 11-year-old Deanston 2009 bottled by Brave New Spirits for their Rebels Guerilla Casks series, which focuses exclusively on bottling whiskies that have not been matured in ex-bourbon or Oloroso sherry casks.

To that end, this Rebels Guerilla Cask Deanston 2009 11-year-old has been matured in a first fill Merlot wine barrique cask, giving the unpeated Deanston malt whisky a coppery tinge - and, no doubt, big fistfuls of plummy, dark berry flavours.
