One of Richard Paterson's signature creations, Dalmore's King Alexander III was first released over a decade ago and remains enormously popular with the distillery's avid fans. 

Dalmore King Alexander III has a remarkable cask recipe, with no fewer than six cask types involved. The cuvée includes whisky matured or finished in ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry, Madeira, Marsala, Port and Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks and it's a testament to Mr. Paterson's blending prowess that this exceptionally complex recipe has produced such a smooth, harmonious whisky.

Nose: Red berry fruits, fresh flowers and hints of passionfruit.

Palate: Citrus zest, vanilla pod, creme caramel and crushed almonds.

Finish: Sweet cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger.
