This 2023 limited edition annual release of Dalmore 21 year old is the pinnacle of the Principal Collection.
Very much like its younger sibling (the 18 year old) This 21 year old is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before an extended finishing in hand selected 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks from González Byass.
The 21 year old has a slightly higher abv of 43.8% giving that little extra strength that you sometimes feel you need.

Palate: Sweet liquorice stick, Black Forest fruits, roasted walnuts, and thick marzipan.
Finish: Ginseng, pear tarte tatin, and Sanguinello blood oranges.
