A 2008 Craigellachie, bottled by Duncan Taylor in 2021 after 13 years of maturation, the last three months of which were in one of Duncan Taylor's special octave casks - tiny barrels made by splitting a 500L sherry butt into eight separate casks.
Due to the small size of Octaves, single cask bottlings are inevitably rather low on outturn, and so it's proved here, with just 71 bottles being yielded after the Octave finish at a natural strength of 53.2%.
