Menagerie is one of Compass Box's limited edition blended malt whiskies. Menagerie is intended as a celebration of the wild side of whisky, and as with all of CB's whiskies, it's brilliantly designed both outside and inside the bottle.
Menagerie's recipe includes principally Mortlach, Glen Elgin and Deanston, with a chunk of the company's proprietary Highland malt blend and a smidge of Laphroaig, all of which make this a fruity dram with a thread of smoke and an appealing earthy 'otherness'.

Menagerie boasts a complex aroma of baking spices, leather, tar and musky fruits. The palate is engagingly lush with even more fruit, while oily smoke and forest floor notes linger in the finish.
Menagerie is at home with all manner of chocolates, but to really experience the call of the wild we recommend pairing with a naturally fermented sour beer, or a cold slice of game pie.
