This Distillery Only Caol Ila Cask Strength whisky was a limited edition of 4000 bottles released in 2007 at its natural cask strength of 58.4% after maturing in a mix of American and European oak casks. A potent, take-no-prisoners Caol Ila, with blistering phenols and zingy citrussy flavours alongside camphor, faint honey hints, smoked fish and peppery spices.
