This 21-year-old Caol Ila 1981 came from single cask 251, bottled without colouring or chill filtration at 46%. Caol Ila was in incredible form in the early 1980s, with fantastic bottlings of salty, citrussy, minerally drams of outstanding quality like these almost commonplace for 1990s whisky fans.
