After a wobbly period in the 1980s and early 1990s, this millennial period was a great time for Bushmills, as the whiskey was really benefitting from the improved wood policy introduced in the 1990s. Bushmills 10-year-old is matured in a mix of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, and is the best-selling Irish single malt whiskey for a reason - it’s a mediumweight dram, very easy to drink and absolutely delicious.
