Bunnahabhain Canasta is a special edition Bunnahabhain launched for the 2023 Feis Ile, also known as The Islay Festival of Whisky & Music.

Canasta is a cream sherry made by top sherry producer Williams & Humbert, and is a blend of dry Oloroso and rich sweet Pedro Ximenez wines. This Bunnahabhain was matured full term in these casks and has been bottled without colouring or chill filtration at a great drinking strength of 51.2%.

Colour: Polished Mahogany.

Nose: Classic sherried nose; sweet and caramelised fruits, honey roasted nuts, waves of cinnamon and clove with a hint of rancio.

Palate: Maple syrup leads with creamy vanilla, dried figs, poached pears and a sprinkle of cocoa. A gentle twist of orange appears in the background.

Finish: Long and sweet with notes of brown sugar, red apples and vanilla custard.
