An old bottling of the much-loved Bowmore Legend. This particular edition comes with a free CD-Rom featuring a virtual reality tour of the distillery, which should be pretty amusing now and dates this bottling to sometime around the turn of the century or shortly after.
Bowmore Legend was first bottled in the 1990s and has featured sporadically in the core range ever since. Lacking an age statement, this expression was viewed with mistrust early on in some quarters, but it found its audience quite quickly among fans of fresh, mediumweight but still peaty Islay malts. A very nice old young whisky.
