An old edition of Blanton's Original Single Barrel bourbon, this is Barrel 491 which was selected and bottled in 2020 at the Blanton's Original standard strength of 46.5% (93 US Proof).
Blanton's was one of the original prestige bourbons, and possibly the first luxury single barrel American whiskey on the market when it was introduced in 1984. The whiskey in these Blanton's bottles is sourced from the best casks at Buffalo Trace, who still supply Blanton's under contract to the brand owners Takara Shuzo.
