Blanton's Original was launched by Buffalo Trace distillery (known at the time as George T. Stagg distillery) in 1984 as arguably the first luxury prestige single barrel bourbon range, and is often credited with helping to revive the flagging American whiskey market. Today the Blanton's brand is owned by the Japanese company Takara Shuzo, and the whiskey is still selected from the best stock at Buffalo Trace. These Blanton's Original single barrels are always delicious sipping drams and are a must-try for anyone exploring the bourbon category.
