Hats off, then, to Elixir Distillers for rustling up this hugely promising small batch Blair Athol 2009, bottled as an 11-year-old in 2021 for their small batch Reserve Casks range at the pleasing drinking strength of 48%. At a price this sensible, the technical term for this Blair Athol is 'no-brainer'.
