A single cask Blair Athol 2008 13-year-old Highland single malt whisky released by Signatory Vintage for their Cask Strength Collection. Cask 9 was bottled without colouring or chill filtration at full cask strength.

This 2008 Blair Athol 13-year-old was initially filled into refill hogsheads before being reracked into a fresh sherry butt for 26 months - more of a secondary maturation than a finishing period - and yielded 686 bottles at 54.5%. We've only got a fraction of that, of course, and at this price it looks like great value - Blair Athol takes to sherry very well, so this should be delicious.
