Something special here - an epic cask strength single cask Bladnoch 1990 26-year-old Lowland single malt whisky bottled in 2016 without colouring or chill filtration by independent bottlers Adelphi but only released at the end of 2021 as part of the company's Archive series.

This extraordinary 1990 Bladnoch came out of a refill bourbon cask at a remarkable cask strength 62.4% - perhaps a higher than usual filling strength was involved? - with 146 bottles yielded from cask #30319. We’d expect this to be intensely citrussy, grassy and minerally, and Bladnochs from this era are reliably terrific whiskies.
