A limited edition Black Bottle 10-year-old, the classic blended Scotch whisky bottled by Burn Stewart's Gordon Graham subsidiary.

Black Bottle is a very old blended whisky brand whose recipe was based on smoky Highland or Islay whisky for much of its history, but the 10-year-old edition was dormant for many years after being discontinued around the turn of the millennium, a year or two before the Black Bottle blend (and the Bunnahabhain distillery that supplies so much of its malt whisky content) was bought by Burn Stewart from former owners Edrington for £10 million.

This limited edition Black Bottle 10-year-old was therefore a very welcome revival, appearing for the first time in its new limited edition guise in 2019 after a hiatus that had lasted almost two decades. This 10-year-old Black Bottle matured in American oak and stays true to its Islay-influenced roots, with gentle smoke threaded through a very easy-drinking blend.
