Benromach Contrasts 2012 Peat Smoke Sherry Cask Matured does what it says on the tin. This is a small batch of first fill sherry hogsheads that were filled with unusually heavily-peated spirit (55ppm) before bottling in 2021 at 46% - a change from the previous version of Benromach Contrasts Peat Smoke Sherry Cask Matured, which was a 2010 vintage bottled at cask strength.
As ever with Benromach, this Contrasts release is almost indecently well-priced, so we expect that sales will be brisk.
