Bottled from a parcel of first fill bourbon and sherry casks, this 2010 Benromach Cask Strength Batch 1 has classic dried fruit and spices with a thread of gentle smoke and weighs in at 58.5% - a hefty strength for drinking neat, but we're sure it will swim very well if you want to add a drop of water.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Dark Amber.

Aroma: Rich sherry and spice, leading to soft orange zest and dark chocolate.

Palate: Stewed fruit and dark honey give way to baked apple. Sweet red berry flavours develop alongside subtle cracked black pepper.

Finish: Long and full bodied with soft smoke and sweet fruit.
