Benrinnes 2010-2021 | 10 Year Old Duncan Taylor Octave Cask 59128586
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Duncan Taylor 70cl / 54.8%
You see a fair bit of Benrinnes around these days, although Diageo do still keep the majority for their J&B and Johnnie Walker blended whiskies. Still, it's one of those distilleries that we're always glad to see a new bottling of.
Duncan Taylor have come up with this cask of Benrinnes 2010, which has the extra advantage of having spent a six-month finishing period in one of their special Octaves - mini sherry casks re-coopered from large sherry butts - before bottling in 2021 as a 10-year-old at its natural cask strength of 54.8%.
