Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Berry Brothers & Rudd 70cl / 60.7%
A 13-year-old Benriach 2010 single cask bottled by Berry Bros & Rudd in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration.
This Benriach 2010 13-year-old spent the last two years of its maturation in a Pedro Ximenez sherry butt, ending its days with a yield of 668 bottles at a particularly robust 60.7% natural cask strength. A nice combination of sweetness, fruit and spices, but this will need a drop of water to open up properly.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Spicy nose full of sticky gingerbread, clove rock and liquorice. A little water coaxes out some juicy pear notes and a touch of underripe mango.
Palate: The palate is a touch drying at full strength, offering ginger, pepper and sweet plum wine. A little time and dilution show a more complex dram, with layers of fruit, spice and a touch of oak.
This is a vigorous whisky perfect for enjoying after dinner alongside dessert.
