Each year Balvenie sets aside one week to make an experimental peated spirit, the product of which has been bottled since 2017 as The Week of Peat editions. This Week of Peat Balvenie 17-year-old is unusual because almost all the other Week of Peat bottlings have been 14 years old and 48.3%. A treat for fans of peated Speyside whisky.
