A 2012 Balmenach 10-year-old bottled in 2023 by Morrison Distillers for their Carn Mor Strictly Limited range of great value small batch single malt whiskies.

This 10-year-old Balmenach 2012 came from a small batch of Oloroso sherry casks that were bottled without colouring or chill filtration, yielding 1247 bottles at the Carn Mor preferred drinking strength of 47.5%. We don't see much of Balmenach as the vast majority of its whisky goes into a big vat marked Hankey Bannister, so this is a very welcome treat.
