A litre bottle of the now-discontinued Auchentoshan Select Lowland single malt whisky. This would have been the travel retail version of this whisky, and as it's the old presentation it must have been bottled before Auchentoshan's major brand overhaul in 2008.
Auchentoshan Select was a very easy-drinking dram, and a great introduction to the delights of one of the Lowlands' great distilleries. Equally at home served long with ice on a hot summer's day or as an aperitif whisky before a good meal.
