A lovely old bottle of Auchentoshan 21-year-old released around the turn of the millennium at 43%. This would most likely have been distilled in the late 1970s or very early 1980s.

These cream label editions of Auchentoshan 21-year-old have a lofty and justified reputation as some of the best Auchentoshan from recent decades, with most batches showing lots of spices, vanilla, marzipan, ginger, mixed peel and fresh exotic fruit. A superb after-dinner tipple.
