This 8-year-old Arran 2013 came from a single ex-bourbon barrel and has been bottled without colouring or chill filtration at the Provenance standard strength of 46%, yielding 326 bottles. A very pleasant combo of sweet, salt and seaweed in the classic coastal whisky style.

Nose: Fresh with citrus fruit and a honey’d barley style and just a hint of jam on buttered toast.

Palate: Thick and creamy – brown sugar and milky cereal balanced by a coastal, slightly salty tang.

Finish: Lingers long with a warming stem ginger depth followed by charred oak and a tropical fruit character (CSL).
