Ardnamurchan AD/04.22:02 Bottled 2022
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46.8%
An old bottle of Ardnamurchan AD/04.22:02 Highland single malt whisky bottled by the distillery in 2022. This was the first core release of 2022 from indie darlings Adelphi's much-loved Ardnamurchan distillery in the Highlands.
Keen-eyed Ardnamurchan aficionados (Ardnaficionados? Ardnamurchanados?) will have noticed that Ardnamurchan AD/04.22:02's packaging has been subtly streamlined, and is now labelled simply as Ardnamurchan AD.
Thankfully for the Ardnaficionados, all the batch numbering and bottling info is still perusable via QR code, but for those who can't be faffed to scan the label Ardnamurchan AD/04.22:02 is, like its predecessors, a 50/50 split of peated and unpeated Ardnamurchan single malt whisky, with 65% from ex-bourbon and 35% ex-sherry casks, and has been bottled at 46.8% without colouring or chill filtration.
