This Cask Noir 9-year-old Ardmore 2013 was finished in Cask 800219, a first fill wine barrique cask that previously was home to France's delightful Rivesaltes wine, and yielded 248 bottles at a hefty natural cask strength of 56.8%. The Rivesaltes will have added lots of nice sweet fruitiness to Ardmore's customary phenolicity, so this should be splendid stuff.
