Bottled in 2018, this Gordon & MacPhail Ardmore 1999 is a new vintage for us, replacing the old 1998 bottling. As ever with G&M, this looks like amazing value for money.

Just like the 1998, this 1999 vintage Ardmore was matured in refill sherry hogsheads and bottled in 2018 at 43%. A must for anyone into sweet jammy fruit flavours balanced with smoke and spices.

Nose: Warm spices and rich stewed fruit complement sweet toffee apple aromas.

Palate: Soft raspberry jam with subtle cracked black pepper lead to a hint of oak.

Finish: Dried fruit lingers on the smooth and light finish.
