Ardmore 1993-2015 | 22 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail Single Cask 5750 Whisky-Online Exclusive
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail exclusively for Whisky-Online 70cl / 49.9%
This is our second exclusive Whisky Online bottling, selected by us and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. It's a single cask 1993 Ardmore 22-year-old Speyside single malt whisky from a refill bourbon barrel bottled at natural cask strength of 49.9% with an outturn of 176 bottles.
This is quite classically Ardmore and pretty old style in its character. Plenty elegant, phenolic and slightly waxy peat smoke with notes of gorse, dried herbs and citrus. On the palate it retains that beautiful elegant peat smoke but also has some lovely fruit character and a touch of sandalwood. Great, satisfying and very beautiful whisky that harks back to a lost style of whisky production.
