Released in 2021 for the Covid-affected phantom Feis Ile Ardbeg Day, Ardbeg Scorch re-used the mega-charred casks from 2011's Ardbeg Alligator to produce a heavily charcoal-influenced (but still sweet) phenolic treat.

This is the advance Committee Release bottling of Ardbeg Scorch and, as is often the case, it's slightly different (and more limited) than the eventual official release that followed it. In this case, the Ardbeg Scorch Committee Release was a higher strength (51.7%) while the later general release Scorch was bottled at 46%.
