A bottle of the Committee Only edition of Ardbeg Kelpie, which was bottled in 2017 at 51.7%, a higher strength than the later standard edition of Ardbeg Kelpie, which was reduced to 46%.

Ardbeg Kelpie includes whisky matured in virgin oak casks made with rare Russian oak from the Adyghe Republic on the Black Sea, adding an extra layer of tarry, spicy notes to Ardbeg's much-loved traditional soot, ash and citrus flavours. One of the more successful recent Ardbeg bottlings, Kelpie is a fine dram for fans of the more in-your-face Islay whiskies.
