A small batch Ardbeg Hypernova Committee Release Islay single malt whisky bottled without colouring or chill filtration in 2022. This Ardbeg Hypernova is often referred to by its release number HN2022.

An extension from the popular mega-peated Ardbeg Supernova editions, which first appeared in 2008, Ardbeg Hypernova was bottled at a chunky 51% and was marketed as the distillery's smokiest ever whisy, with a phenol content of 170 ppm (parts per million), more than three times Ardbeg's normal peatiness.
