A bottle of the iconic Ardbeg Lord of the Isles 25-year-old Islay single malt whisky, which was launched in 2001 to replace the Ardbeg Provenance bottlings and remained at the top of the distillery's core range until the final editions in 2007. This particular edition was released in 2006.

Bottled at a hearty 46% without colouring or chill filtration from stocks laid down before the distillery went on hiatus in 1981, Ardbeg Lord of the Isles has long been a holy grail for Islay whisky fans, and remains one of the benchmark whiskies from a golden era for the Ardbeg distillery.
