An old bottle of the wonderful Ardbeg 1977 Limited Edition Islay single malt whisky, bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration. 

Ardbeg 1977 was introduced to the distillery's core range in 2001, and around a dozen small batch bottlings were done before the last edition appeared in 2004. With a minimum age of around 23-24 years, these superb Ardbeg 1977 official bottlings are noted for their classic salted lemon & tarry rope Ardbeg flavours, with the long ageing giving a mellow dram, though still with plenty of ashy phenols on the palate.
