This 24-year-old Blended Malt #1 whisky from That Boutique-y Whisky Company was released in spring 2022 as Batch 8 of TBWC's Boutique-y Records range.

Boutique-y Records Batch 8 24-year-old Blended Malt Whisky #1 is a teaspooned cask, meaning a cask of single malt whisky had a tiny amount of malt from another distillery added so that it cannot legally be labelled as single malt whisky, even though that's essentially what it is. However, with Dubbtown B-Side and 'DJ Stewart' on the label, some whisky fans might interpret these as oblique references to Balvenie. We're sure it's just coincidence.

Nose: Quite delicate initially, this slowly reveals its nature. Floral vanilla notes, rich, set honey, on buttered rye toast, and some hints of citrus.

Palate: Those rich, honey notes continue onto the palate, sweet brioche, creamy vanilla, hints of nuts, alongside rich oak, and some exotic spices linger; wild fennel.
