Strathmill 2004-2018 | 13 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 46%
A small batch Strathmill 2004 13-year-old Speyside single malt whisky released by indie bottlers Gordon & MacPhail in 2018 as part of their Connoisseurs Choice series.
Bottled without colouring or chill filtration, this 13-year-old Strathmill 2004 came from Batch 18/020, which was a vatting of three refill bourbon barrels that yielded 990 bottles at a hearty 46% drinking strength. Strathmill is a worthy but overlooked Diageo distillery making clean, grassy Speyside malts for the J&B blend and is a great example of the lighter style of Speyside. This should be delicious.
